LONG BEACH, California

Long Beach is the only City in the state of California with it's downtown on the ocean!  How great is that?  With almost 61/2 miles of beach extending from Belmont Shore to the down town and port areas.  This city is known to be "large enough to have resources and yet small enough to be friendly".  It is comprised of many different neighborhoods, each with it's own personality it's own uniqueness and it's own boundaries.

Long Beach is conveniently located between two major centers, Los Angeles and Newport Beach.  Many families live in this beautiful city since one spouse works in Orange County and the other spouse works in Los Angeles County.  This city is home to Long Beach City College and Cal State Long Beach.  The Long Beach Unified School District has recently received the National Broad Award having been named the best medium sized District in the nation.  The Long Beach Unified School District has once again been nominated for the National Broad Award.  Long Beach is only the 2nd School District in the country to be in consideration for this award twice  .With sunny skies, a realistically priced housing stock, a convenient location and great sports and cultural offerings, this is a wonderful place to live!
