Heather M. Burke

Heather began her Real Estate career working for a Mortgage Broker so she could begin to learn this business from the ground up. After satisfying her 'need to know' on the lending side, she moved to specializing in Residential Real Estate.
Heather serves on the 2012 Board of Directors at the Rancho Southeast Association of Realtors (RSAOR). She participates on the Southern California Multiple Listing Steering & Technology Committee and the Product Review Committee. And is a Director of the California Regional Multiple Listing Service, CRMLS. At RSAOR, she chairs the MLS Committee. She co-chairs the local Housing Task Force. She is active in monthly meetings at these Associations and at the California Association of Realtors events. She was the 2005 Local Chapter President of the Women's Council of Realtors Long Beach/South Bay chapter.
In December 2010, Heather was awarded Realtor of the Year for the Rancho Southeast Association of Realtors. This award is given to the Realtor who makes an outstanding contribution of time and enthusiasm to the Association and it's Realtor members. Heather's work with the Realtors for Roofs program got the attention of the City of Bellflower, CAR, and the local membership.
In December 2009, Heather received the RSAOR President's Award for her involvement and leadership at the Rancho Southeast Association of Realtors. The recipient of this award is selected by the President in recognition of service to the Association and it's Realtor members.
Heather has continued her education by attaining her Broker's license and the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation, her Accredited Buyers Representative designation (ABR) and she is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI). Heather recently completed her training to become a Relocation Specialist and received her Short Sale Certification (SFR). With a strong belief in the value of real estate education and the importance of technology in delivering the highest level of customer service, Heather brings her experience and in-depth knowledge to every transaction.
Her spare time is filled with family, including her dog Maggie, golf and her volunteer work at the Los Cerritos YMCA where her energies are put to use fund raising for their "Kids to Camp" program. Her and her husband Brian can be found at charity events both in the greater Long Beach area and in the Palm Desert area. If there is a good cause, we'll be there lending support anyway we can.
